Privacy

Zyvra runs on your machine. Your projects, requests, tokens and traffic stay there.

The program

  • No account, no telemetry. Zyvra does not report usage, crashes, projects or requests anywhere.
  • The update check. At most once a day, Zyvra downloads one small signed file (latest.json), from the release host on GitLab or, when that is busy, from this website. The server that hands it out sees your IP address and a request header with your Zyvra version, operating system and processor architecture, for example zyvra/v0.2.3 (darwin/arm64). Nothing about you, your machine's name, or your projects is sent.
  • Turn it off. Use the switch under Settings, Updates in the dashboard (the version at the bottom of the sidebar leads there), or set ZYVRA_NO_UPDATE_CHECK=1. Local development builds never check.
  • Everything else Zyvra sends over the network is what you ask it to: the requests you send from the API Client and the callbacks you configure.

This website

  • It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and it loads no fonts or code from other sites.
  • Like any web host, the hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, page, time) for a short period.
  • Download links lead to the releases page on GitLab, which has its own privacy policy.

If this ever changes, for example when accounts arrive, this page will say so before it does.
